Rugby Shiva Temple and Community Centre (RSTCC) was formed by devotees in June 2022 with the vision of constructing a temple dedicated to Bhagwan Shiva in Rugby to serve all the communities in UK who follow / believe in Sanathana dharma. Our aim is to create a cultural, social, spiritual, and yoga centre that upholds Hindu Dharma and showcases the multicultural essence of Bharat in the United Kingdom.
RSTCC operates as a non-profit charity organisation, with the central purpose of serving devotees in the UK and Europe by promoting Sanatana Dharma and preserving Hindu culture, values, and traditions.
Core Team & Pillars
Our team comprises highly regarded professionals from all walks of life, including Doctors, Engineers, IT Professionals, Community Leaders, homemakers, etc., united by a shared commitment to devotion and service to Bhagwan Shiva.
The foundation of RSTCC is built on six key pillars, each dedicated to ensuring the overall success of the mission:
- Religious & Cultural – Focusing on spiritual activities, poojas, and cultural celebrations.
- Fundraising – Organising events and campaigns to gather support for the temple’s vision.
- Land & Building Procurement – Overseeing the acquisition and development of the temple premises
- IT– Managing digital outreach, communications, and administrative needs.
- Public Relations: Promoting the public relationships & managing the communications. Building a strong community of committed supporters and devotees.
- Finance – Ensuring transparency and effective management of financial resources.
Progress Towards the Dream Project
- Registered as charity (No. 1209790) in June 2024
- Planning for workshops to start Pooja Services across Rugby and nearby areas throughout the year.
- Promoting awareness within the community regarding the Rugby Shiva Temple project.
- Currently in the process of acquiring land or a building to establish the temple and community centre.
